'Higher, better, faster, happier' software

The rise of HR-tech

HR is a fairly traditional market that is changing rapidly. Digitisation and technology play a major role in this. A few years ago the technology within HR consisted mainly of personnel systems to record administrative tasks and the recruitment process (applicant tracking systems). A great contrast with the smart systems that are currently being introduced with great regularity. Whereas the old packages mainly focused on automating handwork and processes, today's HR technology (HR-tech for short) provides optimal support for every step in the HR process. From on-boarding to retirement.

"Higher, better, faster, happier" software

The new HR software makes processes run faster and better. With the aim of making employees better, faster, higher and happier. For each step of the employee journey, which runs from recruiting a potential employee to the moment the employee leaves the organization or team, there are now software systems that ensure that each step can be optimized and automated on a personal level.

The possibilities of using HR technology to get more out of employees and thereby allow organisations to grow are endless. At Unfurl HR-Tech Consulting, we are therefore convinced that the future of HR has a major technological component. However, this does not mean that HR technology will remove the 'Human' from Human Resources. After all, HR continues to work with and for people, and we believe that HR professionals are essential for successful HR management. The technology supports them and takes their work to a new level.

Gap between use and integration

Despite the fact that there are already many providers, their use is still in its infancy. We notice that there is a gap between HR technology and successful integration in practice. Software vendors argue that their solutions are as good as 'plug & play', i.e. their use is very simple. In doing so, they ignore the integration within the processes, which means 'better, faster, higher, happier'.

To give a concrete example: a customer had purchased feedback software with which his employees could give each other feedback at their own time. Unfortunately, little use was made of it. We researched where things were going wrong and discovered that the employees did not yet see the value of feedback enough. After our training in giving good feedback, it has now become an important tool for the personal development of the employees.

We connect HR with HR-tech

It is therefore important to ensure the right connection between HR and HR technology. That is our mission. We ensure that HR-tech supports and optimises your processes and objectives. So that HR professionals can focus on what they are good at and what they enjoy: being in conversation with employees and letting them develop and perform. And so that entrepreneurs can focus on what they find important: letting their organisation grow by making optimal use of the talent in their organisation. Contact us today for more information!
